Medicare benefits for Allied health services
Enhanced primary care program (EPC)/ Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM)
The Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program (also known as Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM)) is a referral only program from your GP which can provide up to 5 Medicare supported Allied Health sessions per patient per calendar year.
Our Medicare bulk bill services (no gap fee) including:
- Physiotherapy
- Chiropractic
- Exercise physiology
- Dietetic
- Podiatry
Our Medicare mixed billing services (gap fee may occur) including: (Medicare rebate $58.30)
- Pelvic floor physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
- Speech pathology
Medicare benefits for Psychology services
A mental health treatment plan lets you claim up to 10 individual and 10 group sessions with a mental health professional each calendar year.
To start with, your doctor or psychiatrist will refer you for up to 6 sessions at a time. If you need more, they can refer you for further sessions.
Our Medicare mixed billing services (gap fee may occur)
- General psychology (Medicare rebate $92.90)
- Clinical psychology (Medicare rebate $136.35)
